Before you begin

One quiet session. Forty short clips.

We need one warm, natural adult Tagalog voice. The recorder handles mono PCM WAV, 48 kHz, filenames, and saving automatically.

Use a quiet, soft room. Turn off fans and notifications. Put the microphone 15–20 cm from the speaker, slightly to one side of her mouth.
Read only the large Tagalog line. An underline marks the long stressed vowel. A final ’ marks a glottal closure at a pause.
Natural means everyday conversation. Slow means a fresh, clear teaching-pace reading—not stretched, robotic, or syllable-by-syllable.
Listen to every take. Accept it only if the words match, it sounds natural, and there is no clipping, cutoff, intrusive noise, or extra speech.

I am the speaker, or I am working beside her, and she explicitly consents to these recordings being used and distributed in the Tagalog learning app.
